SADS isn’t just an organization – we're a community. And we celebrate you, our community, every month – but especially during National Heart Month.

This is your month, and this year we have a pledge to make it easier than ever to get involved.Our pledge is designed for your schedule – whether you only have 5 minutes at the end of the day, or whether you want to dig in to our awareness activities, you can choose what works for you – and we’ll send you everything you need.

• Be a social media maven and share awareness graphics on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
• Order your free Red Kit – this year with both in-person and virtual options – to bring awareness to the places you live, work, and play.
• Share your story with your local media to bring awareness in your community.
• Volunteer for the SADS Prevention Program to educate local schools about SADS warning signs and how to prevent sudden cardiac arrest in the young. To learn more about this program, click here

The Detect Cardiomyopathy and Arrhythmia Program is a sponsored, no-charge genetic testing and counseling program for individuals suspected of having a familial cardiomyopathy or arrhythmia. Invitae's mission is to make high quality genetic testing accessible to all who need it.
