7th Annual Brian Anderson Memorial 5K-

The annual Brian Anderson Memorial 5K run, or the "BA5K", is an event organized to remember Brian Anderson.
On May 8th 2005, Mother's Day morning, Brian passed away suddenly at age 21 as a victim of an undiagnosed heart arrhythmia. Brian was a 2002 Honors graduate at Washington Township H.S. In May 2005, just 2 weeks after his death, Brian would have graduated Suma Cum Laude from the Villanova School of Engineering. He was offered a prestigious engineering job position at M.I.T. Lincoln Labs. Brian was known for his dedication to family and friends, his academic success, and for living life to the fullest. Time: Registration begins at 7:00 AM, 5K Race begins at 9:00 AM, 5K walk following, Kids Fun Run begins at 10:15 AM Admission Fee: $20 prior to event, $50 for a family (up to 5 people). $25 on event day, $60 per family on event day Timing: The race will be timed with chip timing devices by Run the Day Timing Co. Marshals will be present throughout the course. Awards: Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers, along with the top male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and above.
